I'm not a Libertarian Party member but I play one on the internet

The libertarian movement as best I can tell is at its core a movement of individuals. As such, there are times when differences of opinion, even seemingly fundamental ones, will occur.

Disagreement and even disunity on secondary or even tertiary matters such as personalities and leadership are not reasons over which to part company. On the contrary, criticism and debate are to be encouraged among those with a passion for liberty because the movement itself thrives on heterogeneity. Libertarians acting in groups should endeavor to avoid the appearance of a monochromatic monolithic body and instead promote a confederacy of sovereign individuals.

The most important element is that all movers within the movement hold dear the notion of freedom from the tyranny of subjugation to any man or men (even those in leadership of the party itself) united temporarily and voluntarily to forward the cause of liberty.
